Made with rose quartz, a gemstone that supposedly helps attract love and known as the universal stone of love, the tool is designed to be literally rolled onto the face — in upward motions, against gravity. The forward motions and the cool-to-the-touch stone are said to help de-puff skin and support circulation, says Joshua Zeichner, director of cosmetic and clinical research in dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

"The roller itself helps remove excess fluid under the eye, while the cool stone constricts blood vessels to further minimize swelling," he previously told Allure. "[Rollers] can also be used by themselves or in combination with your eye creams."
