This Is What the Average Guy Worries About The Most During Sex

We’re going to take a wild guess and say that you’re probably not thinking about your partner’s biggest sex fears when you hop into bed with him. But as it turns out, he’s got a lot of them.

According to a new survey of men and women in the U.S. and Europe, he’s thinking a lot more than just “naked girl!” while getting down.

For the survey, by the British website Superdrug Online Doctor, researchers asked 2,000 people to rank their biggest sex fears on a scale of one to 10. Based on that, they determined the top 10 fears for men and women.

The guys’ number one fear turned out to be that their partner had an STD, followed by her not reaching orgasm, an unintended pregnancy, getting off too soon, and giving the impression that they’re bad at sex. In a nutshell, they just want to do a good job in bed without making a baby or getting blisters on their dick. (Here’s an organic lube that can help make a condom glide like buttah.)

While the women were also concerned about STDs and accidental pregnancy, their other top concerns were about personal safety. Those included: their partner wouldn’t want to wear a condom, their partner wouldn’t take “no” for an answer, or that their partner would try to pressure them into something they didn’t want to do. Just a wee bit more terrifying than premature ejaculation.

Worrying about being bad in bed was actually the least of the ladies’ concerns.

Of course, we should point out that you should never do anything in bed that you don’t feel comfortable with, whether it’s having sex without a condom or trying a move that’s not your thing. And any partner who tries to pressure you to do otherwise really isn’t a bedmate you want to have.
