What is the Full Strawberry Moon?
You’re probably aware that there are several phases of the moon, but it never hurts to get a little astronomy refresher. During the full moon, the entire moon is lit up, so it looks like one big ball in the sky.
This full moon is called a “Strawberry Moon” (or Honey Moon, Mead Moon, or Full Rose Moon, depending on where you’re from) which has zero to do with its color or making strawberry-covered meteorites or anything (sorry, I don’t make the rules).
Instead, its name comes from the Algonquin tribes in eastern North America who saw the full moon as a signal to gather the wild strawberries that ripened around this time, according to the Farmer’s Almanac.

This full moon is all about dreaming big. “It’s really about making the impossible possible,” Page says. “Put aside all the naysayers that say you can’t do this or that.”
