GoodRx and Kroger Help Patients Save Up to 100% on Medications

What discounts will you find with the Rx Savings Club?

The Kroger Rx Savings Club will offer three tiers of low-cost generic medications. Some medications will be free—like amlodipine (Norvasc) for high blood pressure, metformin (Glucophage) for diabetes, sertraline (Zoloft) for mental health, and montelukast (Singulair) for asthma. Other popular drugs will cost either $3 for a 30-day supply, or $6 for a 90-day supply. Even at the highest tier, drugs like atorvastatin (Lipitor) will only cost $6 for a 30-day prescription and $12 for a 90-day prescription.

How do you get the discounts?

Patients will be able to access Rx Savings Club discounts at about 2,200 Kroger pharmacies across the US for an annual membership fee of $36 for individuals, or $72 for families of up to six people. The program will begin rolling out across the country this month.

What else should you know?

The Rx Savings Club lives under Kroger’s Wellness Your Way platform, and represents yet another initiative from the retailer to provide patients with personalized health, wellness and nutrition tools, services and programs. As America’s #1 source for prescription drug savings, GoodRx is proud to join Kroger in lowering the cost of prescription drugs for millions of patients in the US.

All too often, patients are left with no choice but to forego their prescriptions because they can’t afford them. More than 200 million prescriptions are left at pharmacy counters every year because the drugs are too expensive. Healthcare should be accessible. Given the popularity of medications included in the Rx Savings Club and the extreme discounts, this new partnership between Kroger and GoodRx should give many patients significant savings at the pharmacy.
