Tom Ford to Be Inducted Into Fragrance Foundation Hall of Fame

Tom Ford is being inducted into the Fragrance Foundation's Hall of Fame.
Ford, who has a booming makeup and fragrance line, will be honored at the Fragrance Foundation Awards on June 5 in New York. The Fragrance Foundation has honored a long list of fashion veterans, including Donna Karan, Marc Jacobs and Carolina Herrera, with the Hall of Fame distinction.
Ford's beauty empire is rooted in fragrance, and launched in 2007 with Black Orchid, which has won several Fragrance Foundation Awards.
"Scent, in its many iterations, is something that I have always had a strong passion for, and to be recognized for my work in this industry by the prestigious Fragrance Foundation, is a true honor,” Ford said in a statement.
Dominique Ropion, master perfumer at International Flavors & Fragrances Inc., will receive the Lifetime Achievement, Perfumer award at this year's ceremony.
