Within the past two years, Rihanna has been experimenting a lot more with her hair. If you're a longtime RiRi fan, you know she's worn a bunch of hairstyles throughout her career, but in recent years, she has been pretty loyal to mostly brown and black wavy or straight hairstyles with a few protective styles here and there. But recently, it feels like every other day the beauty and fashion icon is popping out with new hairstyles, whether it's zig-zag cornrows or honey-blonde highlights.
The "Work" singer has been having more and more fun with braided protective styles lately. She debuted her most recent hairstyle, braided Bantu knots, in a mini makeup tutorial using her brand's products, including the new Resting Peach Face Cream Blush + Mini Gloss Bomb Cream Duo, for fans on November 21.
The Fenty Beauty founder's hair was styled into large Bantu knots all around her head. Each knot was slicked with a very good gel or edge control (perhaps the work of African Pride's Black Castor Miracle Extra Hold Braid, Loc & Twist Gel, but we're just guessing) so they all look neatly parted and sleek. Two small cornrows run along either side of her head — one braided toward the front of her head and the other braided toward the back. We can tell that each braid is long because the ends fall all the way below the camera frame. The braids add a fun element to this overall gorgeous protective hairstyle.

Rihanna has been rethinking these protective styles with intricate braiding patterns and varying the size and length of braids, which we love. We're sure that plenty of people have already bookmarked these styles for their upcoming hair appointments, and we don't blame them one bit.
