There’s been no rest for Rose Fernandez since she took the helm of prestige algae-based skin-care brand Algenist last March. “I’m always thinking about the business and how to continue to put us on the map to be recognized for our expertise in algae and alguronic acid,” she said.

Despite her lack of down time, Fernandez’s goal for 2019 is to help customers get their beauty rest, literally. Debuting this week on sephora.com and Algenist.com is the brand’s latest innovation, Genius Sleeping Collagen. The overnight treatment combines active collagen with alguronic acid for “dewy, cushioned skin.” It joins the Genius range, including Liquid Collagen and Liquid Collagen Lip. Retailing for $98, Sleeping Collagen will roll out to physical Sephora doors early next year, followed by availability on QVC, as well as international distribution.
