It goes without saying that your intimate areas should be treated with care.
But in a bid to get the most attractive penis, blokes are covering their crotch in products touted as “natural remedies”.
In actual fact, these so-called “cures” can do more harm than good.
If you’re ever worried about how your todger looks or is performing, it’s best to seek the advice of your GP.

Three things you should never put near your penis, according to medical professionals
1. Toothpaste
Questionable health gurus have claimed putting toothpaste on your todger can increase the amount of time you last in the sack.
But apparently, doing this could actually do more harm than good.
Previously, James O’Loan, pharmacist at online doctor service Doctor-4-U , said putting toothpaste on your intimate areas can lead to burning and scarring.
He commented: “I’d urge anyone thinking of trying this rather worrying ‘toothpaste’ technique to cease and desist – because it won’t do anything at all to combat premature ejaculation or erectile dysfunction, despite the claims being made in these videos.
"The peppermint oils and other chemicals in toothpaste, including bleaching agents, can be extremely irritating to sensitive skin.
"By putting it on your genitals you actually risk a mild burn, as well as blisters and scarring.
"And toothpaste should in no way be used as a lubricant, either."
2. ‘Natural Viagra’
Lichen tablets are being sold online and touted as a “natural Viagra”.
The lichen fungi are often found growing on pavements, buildings and trees.
And while sellers claim they can enhance sexual performance, they may actually be dangerous.
She told newsroom: “This lichen contains a chemical somewhat analogous to Viagra – and somewhat toxic.
“I always say in my talks that I don't recommend going out and licking the footpath.”
The NHS also advises against purchasing “Viagra” alternatives from unregulated stores.
Even products that claim to be “natural” can contain ingredients that aren’t licensed or deemed safe.

3. Hair removal cream
We’ve seen a rise in manscaping over the last few years – and some fellas are even braving the Brozilian.
For many, hair removal cream is a great way to de-fuzz areas quickly and without any pain.
While it is perfectly fine to do this on most areas of your body, you should always avoid using these products on your intimate areas.
Ignoring these warnings can have bad consequences, as explained by Melanie Mari of Bare Skin Studio.
The hair removal expert warned: “Because hair removal creams are strong enough to break down thick body hair—like chest hair or pubic hair—they’re also strong enough to irritate sensitive areas of the skin.
“In fact, I’ve had a couple guys walk into my studio with chemical burns on their testicles after using depilatories down there.”
