England’s best and worst GP surgeries ranked – check your local practice scores

More than 400 GP surgeries in England have received an “inadequate” or “requires improvement” rating in their latest inspection by the Care Quality Commission.

However, 349 surgeries have also scored “outstanding”, according to the regulator.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is an independent regulator of health and adult social care in England.

It inspects health providers and allocates them one of four overall ratings: outstanding, good, requires improvement, or inadequate.

A total of 62 GPs received the “inadequate” rating in the latest data inspection.
